Synopsis:
Thanks for letter from Teignmouth much altered for the worse. Mrs. Seale's letter brought after J.S. left. John (Fanshawe) taking salt water, ordering more from Mr. S.Looke. Mr.F. gone to St. Sidwells for Sessions. Capt.F. continuing as Mayor of Plymouth. A.M.S. forwarding clothes, toothbrush etc. left by J.S.. Concern about his health. Valerian tea & horse-riding good. J.S. too sedentary. A.M.S. ordering things for dinner party.
