Synopsis:
J.S. ashamed of not writing before. Agitation for a month about horses. Stephens not to blame. Sir W. Lemon intended to return horses as unsound. J.S. expected Sir W.L. to apply to him. Late coachman said that the horses were sound J.S. agreed with him, he did not believe Burrows' opinion. No need to fear a trial.
