Synopsis:
J.S. received a very gentlemanly letter from J.H.S. but with no day. Foolish to listen to flattery like the raven in the fable. J.S. would not forget the little globe. J.H.S. should pay attention to his studies. Apologies for writing on half a sheet, but J.S. had many letters to send under the same frank. If not made up small and weighing little, J.H.S. might be charged a week's pay. Compliments to Mr.Mrs & Miss Gretton. Another letter from J.H.S. that week would be very welcome.
