Synopsis:
JS's letter to Mr. Poterhols delivered by Williams to Exminster. Mr. Newcombe not seen concerning W's character, delighted about his daughter marrying Mr. White & Miss N - sat in AMS's seat in church & about town together. Hannaford's lying letter an imposition saying she wished to have 'her' ? income! whom AMS had supported for many years at great expense, given 8 guineas on her departure by AMS. Hannaford was paid 5 Guineas towards Sally Mead's burial & AMS also paid towards her tomb & inscription, all for their own good not Betty Pearce's. What they decided to do, no concern of AMS. Wet dirty weather. Overleaf JS has written Fanshawe returned. Children pretty well. D.Yand came up Tuesday.
