Synopsis:
Just back from Chudleigh having taken Kitty on her way home. Great concern of news of Charlotte. AMS hoped Sarah S would bring her (to Franklyn) & meet the children. Sall Mead took Godbolds medicine. AMS was better, some Luscombes medicine beneficial. Mr. Fanshawe & Kitty came the previous Friday in the Bath stage coach. Kitty left Maria & Harriet well. Maria had not quite lost a sty. Mrs. Walcot would be leaving Dartmouth, a great loss. AMS asked when the children would be in Exeter so she could send chairs. Mr. Fanshawe had gone to Coal house. (Arithmatical calculations by JS on the letter)
