Synopsis:
Remiss in answering letter, very busy at school the previous fortnight. Bad account of Charlotte, hopeful of improvement in Mt. Boon air. Arrived at Exeter 10pm. previous Tuesday: taken to Franklyn that night from the London Inn by AMS's servant. Incessant rain since then prevented getting chip-hats in Exeter so AMS sent her servant with a note to Mrs. Hull. Hopeful of meeting part of the family at Newton -Receipts £100 for AMS, £100 for C.Fanshawe
