Grant had JS's letter. Time for SS's opinion - Harriet had been told not to answer letter (from T.Lister), she determined to write to JS. His affectionate letter to Maria after a late Dinner, Aunt & Dolly? H.Present. They returned to Fuge 17 March glad to escape. Maria excessively violent & determed silence. She said she would never give GK up. JS should write to GK & his father; Amazed at GK's conduct leaving Belmont & meeting Maria at the Dartmouth Assembly. GK was leaving Cambridge 19 March. C.Hayne said G.Taylor was in Town. The Coachman had gone. Jeffrey busy. The big Horses had Glanders.
