If JHS had a partiality for Margaret B - he should not conceal it from JS, who would put no impediment in his way. Civility shown by her uncle to JHS; a considerable fortune possible. On coming of age JS would give JHS Mt. Boone & £1000 a year in the event of a connection. Miss Margaret might wait a few years before marrying. An aimable & sensible woman. JHS leaving college soon his heart in Edinburgh etc.
