Synopsis:
Mother very unhappy, all uneasy since return, at no news from JS. Grant had heard. Mr. Lister staying a week longer. Letter from JHS asking that the one sent on by EMS already to JS be not sent. EMS would transcribe the letter from Hammersley. Hope that JS would visit the Carterets with EMS & HAS instead of going to Jersey. TL said packets from Weymouth to Jersey were frequent. Grant sending remittance due to Pawley.
