Synopsis:
HAL's child had great irruptions:feared it was measles or small pox. It was red gum and was cured.Inoculated for cow pox, matter taken from Mrs. Carr's little girl. She had recommended the clever, honest apothecary. Mrs. Mervin called; Robert had come safe and well. Charles expected, walking with school friends. EMK was very poorly. Note came addressed to Father announcing the safe arrival of oysters & mango from Orswell. Many thanks to Father. Mrs. Fownes looked much better.
