Synopsis:
Leaving London the following Monday week, could stay with Aunt if not convenient. Hoped that EMK was well after her journey. Mrs. RK was told by HAL of their arrival. Harriet was going to Charlotte Street to check if the woman was taking care of the house, glad the windows were open, it being a fine day. Little Tom was eating broth & beef tea. Mrs. S. Fownes' little daughter very ill but recovering fast. There had been a tremendous fire in Guildford Street, 12-1 are not a coach-makers. John & Mr L. checked that the Fownes's & Kekewiches were safe. It was soon extinguished.
