Synopsis:
JHS carried out JS's orders, note sent to Mr. Fownes & Somerville had come that morning to drink wine. The Manors not yet sold according to Mr. Prideaux, but Abraham of Ashburton had applied. JHS told Grant to write to JS about it. Jeffrey paid 3/8 for the parcel from Cornwall. Grant was to send money to JS. JHS's great need to apply to Ireland for a coat, having discharged his taylor Brewen. Maria's imminent delivery of a young Kekewigian: Mr. Puddicombe in attendence. JS right to have a tooth out. Apples to be sent by sea to Mrs. Maclane. Benneit's cattle were damaging JS's plantation. Chestnuts croped (for sale) as people stole them. The ??? horse worse. Mother needs cutlery.
