Synopsis:
Little John F's illness getting worse. Weather bad. Dr. Warren absent from London. No convenient lodgings. Fortunate that J.F. did not go to London. C.F. glad JS's family were well. Lord Mansfield expected to live some years. Sir Elijah Impey had resigned. J.S's friend was one of those considered for seat on the bench. C.F. hoped to see J.S. after the term.
