Synopsis:
C.F. felt better after a brisk ride, taking 3 ¼ hours from Mt. Boone to Ashburton. He hoped Mrs. Seale felt no more ill effects after sitting up so late previous night. CF called on Miss Kitty. Mr. Peter left estate to younger brother who farmed it, charged with annuity of £40 to brother at Topsham. Halshanger freed from incumbrancy. Whole debt soon discharged. Bad effects of JS's anxiety about Borough Politics. If Col. Hardy was to vacate Mr. B (astard?) would succeed him. CF requested complete disclosure, always ready to help.
