Synopsis:
Dartmouth papers received with Mr. G's opinion. J.S. hoped it was untrue that Mr.G. had been retained on the hearing of J.S's petition against him. No disrespect that J.S. had not retained Mr.G. but that other opinions were more favourable to J.S's claim. Regulation of Parliament admitted but 2 counsels. Powerful evidence to support J.S. who was very hurt. He hoped the members & inhabitants of Dartmouth would be favoured by Mr. G's assistance.
