Synopsis:
Thunderstruck by JS's letter. No partiality for Miss MB, her birth not so agreeable. Her uncle might marry, & hopes of inheritance. £1000 a year & Mt. Boone were no inducement to marry. She was extravagent, spoilt & a high spirit. Supper that evening with them. Had JS received Mr. Manner's bill. Care needed over T.Lister. Good letter to Ld. Rolle. Jeff old, not careful with the horses.
