Synopsis:
JS had mistaken Kerwan's letter. JHS wrongfully accused. Very busy. Captain of the week, drill 9.30 - 1.00 then inspecting barracks, hospitals, men's dinners, cook rooms etc. dress parade, reports etc. Kerwan was to arrange JHS's accounts only not due to be settled til 24 Dec. Not played German flute for a month good opportunity for learning languages, foreign travel. JHS liked Col.Fisher though very strict: Col. Hull not a gentleman? Next destination Ireland. Any news of Harley?
