All well at Belmont & EMK well. Spent a day at Hornsey with Mrs Mervin, who was afflicted with giddiness & others. Harriet, not well & Mrs. Lister stayed 3 days with Dr. & Mrs. Swabey in the country. JHS impatient to be in the Army, not EMK'd wish for his future.No sign of his letter to JS. Going to tea that evening with the Carterets in Featherstone Buildings. Hopes of visiting Devon end of June or beginning of July till September. Confinement expected in October. Harriet's wet nurse engaged by EMK. Mr. Douglass preferred to Mr. Croft by EMK as doctor.
