Synopsis:
Arrived previous night 30 Oct. Little Tom travelled well, he had a cough & cold when they left Dawlish, much better since. Happy to hear the good news of Maria & baby. Harriet still had a bad cold. They had dined with Uncle Hayne in Dorchesters he expected to be in Devon when the Regiment was to be disassembed Rumours that Sir Francis and Lady Buller had parted. Lord Ribblesdale called that morning, he would leave Town in a few days returning with Lady R & staying 2 months before going to Stoke Cliff. Sorry not to have seen Father before he left town.
