Synopsis:
Tom weaned by the nurse, who left the previous Sunday. He had broth every day & meat & pudding alternately. He preferred pudding:: walking better , he could say ''Mama'' & ''Papa''. On 24 Nov. HAL etc. saw ''The Duenna'' a play all the rage, and heard Mrs. Billington sing at Drury Lane. Mrs. Mountain sang ''Had I a heart for falsehood framed.'' Miss Pope was the Duenna & Quick was Isaac. Harriett called on Mrs. Luttrell & Mrs. Silvester. Mrs. Adams much recovered. Had Father been to Dawlish? Mrs. Lister looked after SS's watch while Harriet was in DAwlish. Told to hand it to Father so that Maria could bring it to Harriet.
