EMK's sickness increasing, no worse than others in her condition. Harriet said all well at Belmont. Riots mentioned not very alarming. Prices rising. Mrs & Miss Ilbert just left Town. Mrs. Fownes leaving in a fortnight much better thanks to Mr. Pennington, the apothecary. Maundy Thursday so boys & Miss Mervin went to see purses & bread given to the Poor. Got a violent headache after a Play,'' Deaf & Dumb'', an interesting comedy. The tongues sent excellent but the hams stank, not cured in time. Extra room for Father 21 April.
