Mrs. S's condition too bad to go to London. JS suffered a strain in Dartmouth on a frosty night. Mr. G's brother recovered from illness, teaching Prideaux's son. People think 4 guineas a year for education exorbitant. Mr. G's misfortune. Warm accommodation promised. Rights of the Vicar worked out by Mr. G's brother.

F's appointment to ship; Returned to attend call of House. Judge ill used; attacker still publishing condemned. Concerned for Mrs. S. CF's son well & also AMS.

AMS not got to Franklyn. Much out of order.Under Dr. Glass & Mr. Luscombe. Servant with cold or bad leg. Hope to move out of Town soon.& John to loose pimples & get over bloodshot eyes.

Donations to the Parish to be collected by the Overseers yearly:- out of Mr. Boon Estate, the Sheaf of Cornworthy, Forden Mill by the Mayor of Dartmouth, the Town Park by the Mayor and out of Adrian's Money also by the Mayor. Total £7 - 18 - 4.

MH feeling much better, thanks to visit to Bath. Mr. Wolcot's methods very different. MH getting tired of Bath, very full, concerts, plays, balls, tea drinking etc. The Bullen had left previous Tuesday. Miss Mercy & Miss Poole also gone. Mrs. Taylor & Mr.Edward still there. At ball the week before first time since confinement. Dr. Molsey strict. Staying at home with Aunt, but going to cratome etc. Thanks for bill.

JS returned to Mr. Boone, CF's receipt for £100. Hope sea Jaunt was enjoyed, not seen when at Mr. Boone. Intends to be at Christening. Glad family was well. Mr. Wills selling Life estate on part of which JS had reversion. CF required JS to give opinion. CF had been spoken to by Mr. Hine the attorney. A pity to let estate go to a stranger. Believed JS had Rowe's calculation.

Meeting of the Committee in charge of the management the Poor at the Poor House. Agreed that meetings would be held on the first Monday in every month to settle finances. Mrs Lee to be Governess of the Poor House at 10/- per month. The 2 Overseers to be part of the Committee. The House was open on 7 December 1785.
